Day One:
Our first day is spent in the beautiful town of Dolgellau where we will get to know each other and enjoy a morning cuppa. We then start out exploration with our first trek to the beautiful Cadair Idris. This awe-inspiring mountain lies 2 miles south of the town and rises to 2927 feet. After climbing this Welsh giant we return to Dolgellau for a well deserved home cooked meal served up by our support crew. A good rest, a few drinks and a night under the stars. The support crew will prepare our camp for us.

Day Two:
After breakfast we head north through the beautiful Coed Y Brenin forest. Our destination today is the remote Rhinog Fawr. This unspoilt and seldom visited part of Wales is remote and outstanding in its rugged beauty. The Rhinog ranges are surely one of the jewels in the Welsh landscape crown. Upon return we will be transported further north to Llyn Trawsffynydd where our camp will once again be prepared and waiting. Another evening meal and a drop or two of your favourite tipple sees the end of another perfect day in the mountains.

Day Three:
A hearty breakfast followed by a day of discovery. We head north again to the historic town of Ffestiniog . We explore the ancient town and take a trip on the world famous Ffestiniog railway. Lunch is an fresco picnic, or in a pub depending on the weather. Take the time to shop and explore this wonderful old town, it's worth it. This evening we continue travelling north to the great peaks of Snowdonia. Our stop tonight is Beddgelert.

Day Four:
The mighty Snowdon is within sight and today we plan to stand on its lofty summit. A substantial breakfast is the order of the day as we prepare to ascend this awesome peak of 3085 feet. A rewarding days climb, with lunch on the summit overlooking the stark beauty of north Wales, followed by a short trip to our nights stop at Capel Curig.

Day Five:
Today we travel west as we head for the magnificent Glyders. We traverse the ridgeline of Glyder Fawl and Glyder Fach, ascending via the awesome ‘Devils Kitchen' before descending to the base of the sharks' fin of Tryfan. For those with energy left there is the opportunity to scale this majestic mountain. For those who are satisfied with their day's expedition there is the lure of a waiting bus and a congratulatory welcome from the support crew. Another glorious day ends with a wholesome meal and a good nights sleep.

Day Six:
This morning we take a gentler pace as we head for the summit of Moel Slabod. A beautiful mounting of 2369 feet it gives wonderful views over the Snowdon range and well worth the climb. A good, hearty pre-packed lunch on the summit is followed by the long descent back to Capel Curig. Our stop tonight is Llangollen. A relaxing evening spent with kindred spirits remembering the climbs done and the experiences shared.

Day Seven:
Our last day in the beautiful Welsh mountains and we make our way to the historic city of Wrexham . Lunch will be served en route before we head to the station. Our journey of discovery and adventure has ended but the memories will live forever.
